Who Writes This Site

HectareCalculator.com is written and maintained by Aabeed Gehlod, founder and editor of the site, based in Madhya Pradesh, India. Aabeed Gehlod has 10+ years of blogging and content-writing experience and holds a Higher Secondary (12th) education. Every calculator page, Bhulekh guide, and blog post on this site is written and reviewed by the same person, so the byline you see on each page reflects who actually researched and prepared that content — not a generic "editorial team."

How Content Is Prepared

Each page is built around standard, publicly documented conversion factors and, for the Bhulekh guides, publicly available government land-record portal information. We do not copy content from other websites. Where a figure is regionally variable (like Bigha) rather than fixed (like Hectare-to-Square-Meter), we say so explicitly rather than presenting a single number as universally exact — see our Methodology page for how conversion factors are sourced.

How Content Is Reviewed

Because HectareCalculator.com is currently a one-person project, "review" means the same author double-checks each calculator's output against its stated formula before publishing, and re-checks conversion tables against the live calculator to make sure they agree. This is disclosed here plainly rather than implying a larger editorial team than actually exists.

Correction Policy

If you notice an incorrect conversion factor, an outdated government helpline number, a broken link, or any other error:

1. Go to our Contact page and use the "Report an Error" section.
2. Mention the exact page, the value you believe is wrong, and (where possible) a source supporting the correct value.
3. We review every report personally. If the correction is confirmed, the page is updated and its "Last verified" date is refreshed.

We do not currently publish a public changelog of every edit, but the "Last verified" date shown at the bottom of blog posts and Bhulekh guides reflects when that page was most recently checked.

What We Don't Do

• We don't publish sponsored content disguised as independent advice.
